(Hampstead, NC) — January 6, 2010 – In time for the upcoming Craft Hobby Association show in Anaheim California the elusive gift for the scrapbooking enthusiast has been solved thanks to new scrapbooking themed HELEN’S Queen of the Crop™ gift soap set being launched by Helen’s Scrapbooking Studio.  The three-piece gift soap set, is made by Glynne’s Soaps exclusively for Helen’s Scrapbooking Studio.

The gift set with HELEN’S signature colors comes in three scents (Orange ginger, lavender chamomile, and eucalyptus) with HELEN’S signature Scrap Chat Laugh and are gift wrapped to make the perfect gift for the scrapbooker in your life.  Each 2-ounce bar is embossed with a crown for the Queen of the Crop™.

The $15.00 set is available exclusively at HELEN’S Scrapbooking Studio both online and in the studio.  Plans are to make it available for sale at select independent scrapbook retailers in 2010.

HELEN’S is featured as the ‘Mover & Shaker’ in the January/February issue of Scrapbook Business Magazine in a two page article that includes showcasing the exclusive gift soap set.  The magazine is celebrating its Tenth Anniversary this issue.

November Girls Night Out Plymouth Rock Crop!

The crop will include a very special THANKSGIVING Themed make-and-take you won’t want to miss!  and it comes with bragging rights!

Date: Friday November 20th

Time: 6pm-12pm midnight

Fee: $10 per person (must be pre-paid to confirm your secured spot) for 6 hours of cropping!

Just a reminder – no meal is included, however if you want to bring in something, (as several have told me they are planning to) we have the beautiful and color-coordinated studio placemats to elevate the sack-lunch (make that sack-dinner) experience.

There are complimentary individual sized bottled waters stocked in the studio refrigerator when using the studio.  If you are fine with just water, plan for that option. If you do bring in a soft-drink, please be sure its a screw cap bottle, no cans. If your soft-drink is in a container, it must have a lid on it.  There are no alcohol beverages at the Studio.

Studio etiquette drives us all being a maniac about preventing any spills in the studio, especially making sure we don’t put anyone’s photos at risk of spills.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Plymouth Rock Crop!

If you are new to my blog, please let me paws and share with you that I’m Cuddy, the Mascot for HELEN’S and Main Blogger.  We have found when it comes to blogging that with the computer keyboard I am all paws so Helen helps me!

HELEN’S focus is on helping you get your albums completed with your stories told.  She is always stressing journaling (in your own handwriting or printing out from your computer and including on your pages, the whole topic of journaling we’ll save for another day!) 

There are many things a new scrapbooker (or seasoned cropper) can do to help keep their costs down and help them be good stewards with their money.  One of these areas is in the topic of basic (non-digital) scrapbooking tools.
